The BoardXHouse is fully designed to the needs of surfers. When coming home after a session you can take a shower and rinse & dry your suit before entering the building. At the basement level a rack is available to store your surfboards in a safe way. Your apartment looks over the infamous ‘Point de Imsouane’, this long righthander often peels over 700m. Each apartment has a balcony equipped with a BBQ.
All residents of the BoardXHouse can access the terrace on the roof and the joint pool. From the terrace you can enjoy the view over the second bay with a beachbreak and the rigthhander pointbreak called ‘La Cathédrale’.
The 3 apartments are identical and offer 3 bedrooms each. This adds up to a total amount of 8 beds per apartment. Each apartment also has a bathroom, shower, separate toilet, and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen and living room are an open space overlooking the BBQ equiped balcony and the famous bay of Imsouane. In the basement each apartment has room to store about 20 boards.

The lecturette section of the course is used to help Dean as the ISA Trainer/Assessor to assess a candidates’ preparative, organisational and teaching skills and their knowledge of any aspect of the sport.
The awards are valid for three years from the date of the Coaching Accreditation Course or until the relevant lifesaving qualification expires (whichever is earlier).
S.L.S.A. Surf Coach Life Saving Award.
This award establishes a standard which allows candidates to manage a surfing lesson when combined with the ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor award.
It does not qualify candidates to become Beach Lifeguards but can be updated at a later date. The Course is held over 40 hours training plus 1 day examination by individual SLSA examiners. The course content is very similar to the N.A.R.S. Beach Life guard award except the timed pool swim allows you an extra two minutes to complete the 400m swim in 9min 30sec. Candidates must be able to achieve this before attending the course.
